Amray 1880 FE Scanning Electron Microscope

This is a complete Amray Model 1880 Field Emission scanning electron microscope. The instrument features an exceptionally large sample chamber with an elaborate five-axis stage. The instrument includes special wafer fixtures for 8-inch wafers and 4-inch wafers as well as a multi-sample holder. Instrument has not been powered up so it is possible there is an additional fixture in the load-lock. The instrument had a complete maintenance done by SEMTech in March of 2004. This type of maintenance is only due every five to six years, so it is probably time for another PM. Numerous expendibles and spare parts are included. Instrument dates from about 1990.
