This item is a US Laser centerable holder for an interchangeable spatial filter diaphragm. The diaphragm may be centered in both the Y and the Z axis (orthogonal to the optic axis). Large graduated micrometer spindles provide superb sensitivity and control to the centration adjustments. The holder will accept various screw-in diaphragms (please see our other listings for an assortment of available apertures). The mount is provided with a carrier bracket that fits the standard US Laser optical bench, as well as those manufactured by Control Laser and Lee Laser..

This is a simple optical bench carrier manufactured by US Laser. They fit the standard US Laser optical bench (or optical rail) as distributed by US Laser, Control Laser, and Lee Laser. Carriers are plain and may have slight modifications such as enlarged holes, but the integrity of the carriers are in no way compromised. When installed on the bench, the top surface of the carrier sits 2.88 inches above the base of the bench. Carriers vary between 1.6 inches and 2 inches wide, and may have either clamping knobs or Allen set-screw clamps (both types are illustrated). Please let us know if you have a preference and we will do our best to provide the type you prefer.

This is a complete pump chamber from a Control Laser (US Laser) Model 510 Nd YAG laser. The head is fixed to a standard US Laser optical bench carrier (optic axis height is 50mm from bench reference surface). Length of carrier is 9.75 inches.

The chamber includes laser rod, arc lamp, gold-plated reflector cavity, and flow tubes. All appear to be in superb condition. Label on side of chamber states wavelength as 1064nm at 50W CW. It also states 5W TEM00, 100ns in pulsed mode. Included are right-angle fittings for distilled water connections, as well as two lengths of cable for lamp connections.

This is a Spectra Physics Spatial Filter mounting system, Type 332. This elaborate device is intended for use with the various Spectra Physics collimation objectives in helical focus mounts, such as the type 331 or 336. The spatial filter system consists of three assemblies, the main one of which is the mounting. In the front of the mounting (in the aperture recessed into the thread for the objective mount) is a thread to accept precision pinholes (sold separately) and on the opposite side, after removing the centering collar, another thread is accessed into which various objectives may be installed. The objective is the fixed component in the system. The laser is centered to the objective by releasing the first knurled collar. There is approximately plus or minus 2mm of travel. Motion is restricted to an XY pattern by the slotted intermediate spacer (see second photo). Once the laser is centered, the adapter is locked. The knurled ring adjacent to the locking ring acts as a very fine focus for the pinhole which is in turn centered via the two fine motion screws on the side of the housing….

These spatial filter systems are in very good condition, and functionally perfect. There are some scuff marks in the finish, but for the most part they are minor. To have a functional system you will need to install an objective and a pinhole (listed separately).
